The Lost Metal
This is the 4th book in the Wax & Wayne series and the 7th book in the Mistborn saga. It takes place 6 years after The Bands Of Mourning.
Wow a lot can change in 6 years but there are still some things that are the same. Wayne working more with Marasi instead of Wax was a bit of change. The biggest surprise was that Wax is now a dad!! This book is the last of the 2nd era of Mistborn which means that we finally get some answers as to what happened to the kidnapped people from the first book The Alloy Of Law.
For those that read The Emperor’s Soul you will find one new character in this book using stamp magic. As usual Brandon Sanderson does an amazing job of pulling all his threads together for a terrific ending. I’m really curious what the next era of Mistborn will be like. I know Ghostbloods is in the works though.
I’m greatly enjoying the Cosmere and visiting all the worlds though although so far the Stormlight Archive and the original Mistborn trilogy are my favourites.
