Kamen Rider: Episode 11

Hongo is busy riding his motorcycle as he prepares for the All Japan Motocross Championships and even more miraculously he’s actually wearing a helmet for a change!

Shocker thugs are watching him from a distance though. Apparently the evil boss PA system has combined the strengths of all the previous villains that went up against Kamen Rider into a new monster. The new monster is called Gebacondor but it requires the blood of young women in order to live.. so it’s not alive yet.

Shocker has decided to hide their current operation as a church. In fact a couple that was just walking by, suddenly wanted to get married so they asked the nun that was sitting in front of the church. The nun gestures for the couple to come in and they get married. That’s when Shocker thugs come in and attack the couple.

A boy was watching the wedding from a window with his puppy so he saw the whole thing.

Now that they have collected some fresh blood from that poor doomed couple, they give it to Gebacondor so it can rise. (IT’S ALIIIVVVEEE!) The Boss PA system orders the new cyborg to go forth and do dastardly deeds to support Shocker. The new monster tests out his abilities on some of the Shocker minions. The Shocker thugs are convinced that they will finally be able to rid themselves of that pesky Kamen Rider.

At the snack shop, a letter was sent by the previous All Japan Motocross Championship winner and Hongo’s rival (Kazuya Taki). It appears the rival is getting married before the championship. Mr. Tachibana says that he must be pretty confident about another win, if he’s getting married. Mr. Tachibana says that Hongo is really focused on winning so he’s spending all his time on the bike.

Mr. Tachibana says that Hongo has been doing some important research but that Hongo wants to only concentrate on training for the upcoming competition. Mr. Tachibana jokes that it isn’t easy to lead a double life.

At the lab one of the other scientists reminds Hongo that he’s going to be late for his friend’s wedding. It’s no surprise that the wedding is being held at the evil Shocker church. However since there are lots of guests attending this wedding, the couple is allowed to make it out of the church safely after being married.

The couple rides off on a motorcycle (no helmets.. boo!) then get attacked farther down the road. Hongo was late to the wedding but he did arrive in time to see the couple being attacked so he changes to Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider fights the Gebacondor while the new husband fights off the rest of the minions to get his bride and escape. Kamen Rider however loses the battle with new cyborg.

At the hospital the bride (Yoko) isn’t doing too well. Her husband tells Ruriko and Mr. Tachibana that it was Kamen Rider that saved them. Mr. Tachibana is curious about Hongo so he phones from a pay phone but gets no response.

Since Kamen Rider is Missing In Action the new Shocker cyborg is attacking women all over the place. After Mr. Tachibana reads the newspaper at the snack shop, he decides to go search for Hongo. Mr. Tachibana goes near the church which is when he bumps into the little kid with his puppy. The kid asks Mr. Tachibana if he’s going to get married too, then warns him against going to the Shocker church but doesn’t say why.

Mr. Tachibana then decides to check out the church, while sneaking around he bumps into Yoko’s husband (Taki). They mistake each other for bad guys at first so they have a small fist fight before realizing each other’s identities. It turns out that Taki thought something was weird with the church so he decided to check it out since there’s nothing he can do for Yoko.

The two hide so the creepy nun doesn’t see them and then head back to the snack shop. Mr. Tachibana tells the group about what the boy told him. Taki says that there must be a Shocker base underneath the church. Mr. Tachibana devises a plan..

Apparently the plan is for Mr. Tachibana to marry Ruriko giving some of the snack shop staff time and Taki to investigate the church during the ceremony. As soon as the ceremony is over, the newly married are attacked, but Taki is there to take on the goons so the two can escape. Then the new cyborg goes after Ruriko and Mr. Tachibana instead of fighting Taki. Taki fights the minions then goes for his motorcycle and drives off.

Ruriko and Mr. Tachibana get attacked in their car by the Gebacondor. That’s when Kamen Rider shows up and a fight begins.. but Kamen Rider is getting his butt kicked by the Shocker monster. Mr. Tachibana yells at Kamen Rider to use cyclone. Kamen Rider runs away from the Gebacondor to get to his motorcycle which makes the Gebacondor think that he’s retreating from the fight.

In reality Kamen Rider goes to his motorcycle so that he can use it to recharge his powers and then defeat the Gebacondor before driving off in lonely hero kind of way. Ruriko gets in the car and drives off without Mr. Tachibana so I guess he’ll have to walk home.
