Autistic Goblin

This episode starts off with a woman in black walking around putting up signs for a biological research facility that will buy cats and dogs. A moment later we see there is a line up outside the facility of people with their puppies. (I HATE them all. Pets are family and not to be sold).

Apparently Shocker is using the animal’s blood to revive the Cobra Man, while keeping some of the more promising humans as combatants. The woman says that she will revive Cobra Man even though he failed to steal gold from the reserves thanks to Kamen Rider.

Elsewhere Hongo is arriving at the cafe to discover Ruriko and Mr. Tachibana helping out a kid. The kid’s name is Toru and his puppy has gone missing. Ruriko remembers a customer mentioning that someone was buying pets. Mr. Tachibana is surprised that Ruriko believes someone stole the pup in order to get money. (Pet napping is an actual thing, so Microchip your pets! Also put AirTags/SmartTag/Tile on their collar).

Hongo has seen the signs posted, so he knows it’s the biological research facility that is buying pets. Toru’s dad shows up to ask what the issue is, so Ruriko takes Toru into the cafe for a treat. Toru’s Dad is a single parent but he’s also a detective. There has been a new batch of mysterious disappearances, so he isn’t around much.

Sometime later Toru heads to the biological facility to look for Taro (his puppy). There’s a sign saying that they aren’t buying pets anymore. Toru’s dad finds him trying to peek through a window. Toru explains that he believes the facility has his puppy. Toru’s Dad says that if it’s true, then he’ll go bring the puppy back home.

Toru is a little doubtful but his dad points out that he’s never lied to his son. Toru hides behind a tree to watch while his dad knocks on the door and gets invited inside. Toru’s dad is lead to a room, then told to wait. Alone in the room, Toru’s Dad thinks about how all the people that have disappeared sold pets to this facility. He has a bad feeling about the place. Then he gets knocked out by a Shocker thug.

Cobra Man is brought back to life by the creepy evil lady. The Boss PA system tells them that gold has just been delivered to the Japan Gold Repository. A ship is coming to take the gold away so Cobra Man’s task it to steal the gold before it leaves on the ship. The evil boss PA system says that if they fail to steal the gold.. they’ll die.

Toru is sitting behind his tree bored as his father still hasn’t left the building. He sees Cobra Man and his team leave the facility, then runs off scared to the cafe. Toru tells Mr. Tachibana that he saw a monster at the biological research facility. Toru is convinced that the monster ate his father.

Hongo arrives at the cafe, Mr. Tachibana quickly whispers about the situation in his ear.. so Hongo leaves on his motorcycle.

Toru’s Dad is staked out next to another victim as test subjects for Cobra Man’s power. Meanwhile Hongo is attacked by Shocker thugs as soon as he gets close to the facility.

Cobra Man has gained a new power which he uses on the other victim.. and burns him alive. Hongo hasn’t made it there yet but during his fight with the Shocker thugs, he has learned that Detective Koga is in the forest behind the facility.

Cobra Man starts to burn the Detective but his aim is a bit off so at first it only burns Mr. Koga’s leg. Cobra Man fixes his aim and starts to burn Mr. Koga but seems to run out of juice partway through, which gets him a whipping from evil creepy lady. Then Kamen Rider shows up.

There is a fight, during the fight evil creepy lady gets burned by Cobra Man instead of Kamen Rider.. but they both live. Mr. Tachibana rescues Mr. Koga while Shocker is distracted by Kamen Rider.

Evil creepy lady is cranky with Cobra Man because he burned her face. After she flogs Cobra Man, the PA boss tells Cobra Man to kill her because she’s useless now. Cobra Man gets to live for now because he still has to steal the gold.

Mr. Koga went to the gold repository because the gold is being transferred. (Really?? That guy should still be in a hospital!) Apparently Mr. Koga just needed some bandages and a cane, oh and he also gets scolded by the boss about security for the gold.

Hongo meets Mr. Koga at the gate to warn him about Shocker trying to steal the gold. Hongo thinks that the transfer should be postponed. However Mr. Koga doesn’t know about Shocker..so he doesn’t believe Hongo.

Things appear to be going smoothly for the gold transfer until Cobra Man and Shocker thugs attack on the ship. More people get burned alive by Cobra Man and eventually there is an explosion on the ship worthy of a James Bond movie. The ship of course sinks faster than the Titanic.

Cobra Man and his Shocker thugs are loading the gold into a cave when Kamen Rider shows up. After another fight, Cobra Man dies.. again.

After all that, Detective Koga and Toru return to the cafe with Taro. Detective Koga is even going to get a commendation. According to Mr. Koga, Shocker never showed up, so he wonders who took the gold off the ship? Hongo teases the Detective by saying it was him.

Detective Koga defends himself saying that he got knocked out by the explosion. Hongo then tells Mr. Koga that he did it but Detective Koga doesn’t believe that Hongo could do it. (Hehe)

Roll those end credits! That’s the end of Kamen Rider: Episode 10!
