Little Mushroom
This is a sci-fi BL novel and the first in a two book series. Now the books did come out under a different publisher before and I noticed it but was too busy to read it. Then the publisher went under and I feared I wouldn’t get the chance to read it.
I was also worried because back then it seemed like more of a light fluffy read but… it’s actually more of a sci-fi horror book. Thanks to Seven Seas Entertainment picking it up, I finally got my chance to read it.
There are some trigger warning to be had with the mature adult content so I recommend late teens to adult for this one. I really enjoyed the book but forgot that the second book isn’t out yet so I have to wait to know what happens next (sigh). There also wasn’t any spice or even kisses in this one so I’m hoping for at least a kiss in the next one.
I would recommend this book to those that liked the Webtoon/Kdrama Sweet Home (which I absolutely loved!) or the recently released Korean movie Colony. I’m glad the second book comes out in December so I don’t have a long wait to find out what happens next!!
