Rocky Mountain Book Box -August 2026

This is my first Book Box from Rocky Mountain Book Box which is based in Hinton Alberta. They are currently an online and pop up independent bookshop with dreams of having a physical shop in Jasper or Hinton.
I vote for Jasper as a lot of people tend to visit there.
I got a lovely signed paperback of Dragon’s Fire by Canadian Author Christine Stobbe. This is one of the things that makes Rocky Mountain Book Box stand out from other book boxes is that they support Canadian Authors and vendors.

The Cookie (which was yummy!) is from Indulge Cookies a baker in Jasper. The bookmark is from JR Creations a Canadian Artist. I do love the bookmark!!
The sticker also comes from a Canadian shop called Plant It With Stickers. This makes my whole box a truly Canadian affair.
The best part is that Rocky Mountain Book Box is one of the more affordable book boxes that you can get. While I went with the SciFi/Fantasy book box there are other genres that you can pick. This is a small shop so don’t expect them to have Special Edition hardcovers like The Broken Binding or FairyLoot.
I’m very excited to read this book but it will have to wait a bit as I have a few other books to read first. I’m a little behind in my reading as I just got a young puppy and I’m a little sleep deprived between her bathroom breaks and training. I’m currently reading Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson which is the second book in the Wax and Wayne series.
