Rhythm Of War
This is the 4th book in the Stormlight Archive, the first book is The Way of Kings.
I didn’t think I would like any book as much as Words of Radiance but hot dang was this book.. dare I say it.. better? Yes, yes it was. It took my favourite moment from book 2 and then gave a few more characters that same moment/feeling. It was wonderful!!
I hated Lirin for a good half of the book, and I’m not sure I can forgive him but Sanderson at least made me just dislike him instead near the end of the book. I felt like Kaladin and Lirin had a bit of growth there.
We did learn more about what happened with Shallan when she was younger which was heart wrenching but another step on her journey of healing. It took a backseat to Adolin and Maya’s journey though because there is an amazing moment between those two.
Navani is amazing throughout the book, I found her part in what happened at the Tower to be really interesting. We learn a bit more about some of our Bridge Four members as well. Though we did have to say goodbye to one of them.
I greatly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series!!
