This book was published before Mistborn. This would be the 4th Brandon Sanderson book I’ve read if we don’t count the novella of The Emperor’s Soul. I still like the Mistborn trilogy more but the characters of this book grew on me. I ended up cheering for them loud enough that I’m glad I wasn’t in library reading it! This
