Mr. Kill

This is not a recap of the series Mr. Kill which is on VIKI in Canada or on the official GMMTV YouTube channel in some places of the world.

Instead this is a little book review of the Mr. Kill ebook version that I read. I read the English version of course. I’m so grateful to GMMTV for making this available.

I started watching the drama first but the episodes were taking so long and I just HAD to know what would happen next. It didn’t take me long to catch up and I finished the book in two days. It’s not a BL but it is a bromance. The book even includes some screenshots from the drama as well as some artwork which is a nice touch.

I found the novel much like the show itself to be gripping. The relationship between characters was very well done and there are some differences between the show itself and the book. Although I’ve only seen up to episode 5 of the drama so far as I’m still waiting for the other episodes to release. Reading the book hasn’t dampened my enjoyment of the show because the actors do such a great job.

I fell like this could be in either older YA or adult section as there is a fair amount of violence in this book but there is no spice. I like that GMMTV doesn’t just do fluff but has done some darker shows as well. Now that I’ve discovered they have English ebooks… my wallet is going to cry a little.

All in all I would recommend the book to people that like the show and want to support the artists as well as to those that like shows such as Castle.
