I just finished reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson and I absolutely loved it. It’s not very often where I find a book or any media where I love the whole cast but Sanderson did it.
I’m clearly going right to the second book after finishing this little review of mine because I MUST know what happens next.
Brandon was right when he said that you could read this as a stand alone book though. The story is complete, it even ends on a happy note… however there’s more books in the series if it’s to your liking. I can’t believe I’ve never read these books before even though I had seen them in my local Chapters more than once.
I’m so glad the Sci-Fi/Fantasy community I’m involved with recommend it because unlike Nevernight or Gardens of the Moon I actually enjoyed this one. I found myself wanting to continue to read late into the night. There were even a few things that I didn’t see coming.. which made the story even better. This is definitely a book I will be getting a physical hard copy of.
