Organic Saigon Chai
The Ingredients:
Organic black tea from India, Organic cinnamon, Organic ginger, Organic pink peppercorns, Organic cardamom, Organic cloves, Natural (cinnamon, vanilla, cream) flavouring.
I picked up a Chai sampler from Davids Tea while I was picking up some more of their tea sachets. I prefer Davids Tea ones because they have a drawstring to pull once you’ve filled it.I started with the Saigon Chai and I can definitely taste the peppercorns.
I’m not getting a lot of cinnamon but I do detect some of the clove which is blending in with the cinnamon. However the pink peppercorns are definitely overpowering the other flavours in my cup.
I can’t wait to try the other flavours in the box. Although I know Davids Tea teas can be hit or miss with me. I have tried the rooibos one before but the other two will be completely new to me, so it’s very exciting.
