It only makes sense in fantasy world that if there are vampires, then there must also be werewolves. In fact the only series that I can think of that didn’t include both is Teen Wolf.
That said the lore on werewolves here is definitely interesting considering most media insists on the whole bite/scratch thing. The werewolves in this universe are born, period.
This is the second book, so make sure to read Blood Price first.
While in the first book we had vampires and demons in Toronto, in this novel we travel to a rural area near London Ontario. Someone is killing the werewolves and Henry has oh so helpfully volunteered Vicki to help. Things between Mike and Henry were off to a rocky start in the first book and Mike crashing the party in this book definitely makes things interesting.
Unfortunately Tony doesn’t make much of an appearance in the book, I promise he’ll be in future ones though and he does have his own spin off book series which is still available in ebook form. (I’ll review those later). I enjoyed reading this one just as much as the first one, so I would definitely recommend it to others.
