My first thoughts were of the movie The Lake House when I read about the pendant. I wasn’t very far into the book at the time but it’s a thought that decided to chime in.
Now that I’ve finished this book that was dedicated to Cdrama girlies.. I felt it was more like The Vampire Diaries than a Cdrama.
The tone of the book was definitely darker in tone than I thought it would be. I loved it though, I would definitely recommend it to people that enjoyed the TV version of Vampire Diaries but found that version of Elena Gilbert lacking. I’m a little annoyed that I have to wait for the second book.. but I’m definitely grabbing a physical copy of this series.
